March 2008
* Wednesday, 19th March - The Farmhouse was the first of the year to receive the St Lucia Bureau of Standards (SLBS) Tourism Certificate of Conformity.
This certificate confirms that the property has been certified against the Saint Lucia Publicly Available Specification SL/PAS1:2006: Tourism Services Requirements for Home Accomodation, which is geared at improving the quality and competitiveness of the tourism accomodation sector.
The certificate was handed to Penny & Thompson Charles by Betty Combie (Head of Certification at SLBS) and commented that achieving the certification has given them the confidence that they are offering their guests a quality product and service.

February 2008

* The Farmhouse will be having a stall selling Jewish/Israeli cakes at the International Food Fair, taking place in Vieux Fort on Sunday 24th February.
